On July 19 took place in the facilities of the University of Almeria an activity directed and organized by the CUCN which is part of the training activities belonging to the project DESEACROP, under the title “Use of desalinated water in agriculture, management and technical aspects”.

Juan Reca Cardeña, director of the CIAIMBITAL Research Centre, Antonio López, president of the CUCN, and technicians from the same organisation took part in this activity as speakers.

Among other topics, it was discussed and explained the functioning of the Community of Water Users of the region of Nijar, specifically its supply and the most important economic aspects.

The event was attended by 50 participants, most from the Group “La Caña” and the Miguel Garcia Sanchez Foundation, in addition to other companies in the sector.
